Wanted to check how to add the tentaive start date based on creation month

Hi Team,

We are looking for a automation where we can add TSD date based on ticket creation month.

Example: If the ticket is getting created in first quarter (Jan, feb, march-2022) automatically the Tentative start date should be (1st-April2022 ) similarly ticket is getting created in second quarter(Apr, may , June) The TSD should be (1-July-2022) etc.

Hi @Janaki.R 

Perhaps something like this might work?

In the example above, I'm setting the duedate field, you'll need to replace this with whatever date field you want set.

Finally, you need to add 2 more else if blocks for the remaining 2 quarters.

Thanks for the reply i have added the rule as per your suggestion in the edit issue smart value instead of due date i have added issue created. It is working as expected. {{issue.created.withMonthOfYear(4).withDayOfMonth(1)}}
