What's the difference between JIRA Software and JIRA?

in JIRA 6.3.15 , when I create a project I am presented with 7 options.

  1. Sample issue Tracking
  2. Service Desk
  3. Software development
  4. Project management
  5. JIRA Classic
  6. Agile kanban 
  7. Agile Scrum 

Could you please explain what is the difference between "Service Desk and Project Management" and what are the features are configured in this two types.
