While upgrading the Jira to 7.8 version, having issue with default plugins & servicedesk plugin-SOY

Hi,

I am looking for help on this issue, I am getting these two errors in the logs -

System plugins failed to start: We haven't been able to start all the required system plugins
We couldn't start the following plugins:
Gadget Directory Plugin (com.atlassian.gadgets.directory)
Atlassian JIRA - Plugins - Gadgets Plugin (com.atlassian.jira.gadgets)

2018-06-22 20:32:27,647 http-nio-8080-exec-19 ERROR - [o.a.c.c.C.[.[localhost].[/].[action]] Servlet.service() for servlet action threw exception
javax.servlet.ServletException: Soy renderer unavailable

I would start with this article for troubleshooting:

• Troubleshooting Jira Startup Failed Error

You can also try the following:

• Shut down JIRA
• Delete the following hidden plugin cache directories:

  JIRA_HOME/plugins/.bundled-plugins
  JIRA_HOME/plugins/.osgi-plugins
  

• Restart JIRA (These directories will be recreated on JIRA reboot with new plugin cache)
