Hi all,
I keep on receiving JIRA notifications (e-mails) but I don't understand why.
I am both administrator of my company's JIRA system and lead of the project for which I receive unexepected notifications.
For instance, I receive "Issue updated" notifications, although the notification helper tells me that I should not receive such notifications...
Does anyone has an idea of what it could be?
Thanks
Ben
Please check whether you are part of any distribution list and mail is getting triggered to that list
Not that I know of. We never set any distribution list.
Jira settings are still kind of a maze for me. Is there somewhere specific I should go and check?
Thanks
You must be a registered user to add a comment. If you've already registered, sign in. Otherwise, register and sign in.
Start with the notification scheme for the project. You are getting "issue updated", so have a look at that line in the scheme.
List out who is supposed to be notified (it could be groups, roles, project lead, assignee etc). You then need to flatten that, looking at a list of every account in the groups, every account in the roles, the assignee on the issue and so-on.
One of those accounts either points to a mailing list email address that you are on, or has your email address.
