Can Jira output data or get anything for other system in the create issue page?
I would like to have a inventory system which can connect to Jira Service desk. In the create issue page, Jira send out data to the inventory system and the system respond whether the item is available or not back to Jira.
I know it sound stupid, but I am new to Jira. Is this possible?

Hi Ng,
Jira Service Desk is used for users or customers to open tickets in order to ask for help. They will have a access to a customer portal where they can fill forms with details of an issue and it will create a ticket internally for agents to help this customer.
I believe that JSD won't help you if you need to send data to an inventory and then receive a message back to Jira to show if an item is available.
