I have jenkins installed on an ec2 aws instance which has a private ip, so jira can't reach Jenkis, but from jenkis it can reach jira.
What should I do so that Jira can recognize Jenkis, therefore, the jenkins tigger does not work for me

Hope you configured OAuth configuration as well. If not please follow below 3 steps and then try again accessing the jira instance.
