issue type with asset management

is there any way possible to correlate incident or bug issue type with asset details on which these issues happen.

If i am not wrong or correctly understood your question then you can use the Custom text field ie Asset and while creating Incident/bug you can provide the value to this Asset field.

So that you can fetch the report or generate the filter using the asset field as well.

Thanks for reply. what i am looking is let say i define a TAG project (Asset Management) and then if an bug or incident happen so basis of any input i can pull out information of that machine from TAG project and update custom field(ip, location) in bug issue type.
