own fieldconfiguration for transition scrrens

hi,

i have a projket with a issuetype and assoiciated screensheme/fieldconfiguration and Workflow.

To start a issue you can see an custom field configurated by schreensheme. The fieldconfig say, that this field is NOT REQUIRED.

But at on step in the workflow, you get a transition screen where this field schould be  REQUIRED.

so is it possible to assign a new fieldconfig to this Transitionscreen?

can someone explain how it works, if possible.

Hello,

You should use a validator to make a field required during a transition. But there is no such validator out of the box. You would need an add-on for it. Have a look at Jira Suite Utilities plugin, for example.
