want to make few field mandatory for one project only without effecting other project

I want to make the root cause and developer resolution a required field on one project, but not a required field on any other project which using the same field configuration. can anyone please help me as I am new to Jira and it is an urgent requirement. thanks in advance please show me step by step guide

when you say 'developer resolution' that sounds like it isn't on the create screen. Field configurations are for required fields on the CREATE screen. It doesn't matter if the field doesn't appear on the create screen it will still be required. You need a plugin like jira suite utilities to make fields required on transitions. You won't be able to use the same workflow in both projects.
