web hook configuration without using any paid application.

Hello All,

I have read some where that we can configure the landing server for the web hook using scripts like python and etc. Has some one ever setup a web hook by creating a web hook to make Jenkins or another application do the deployment or any other task. 

Please share your thoughts on how I can proceed with the configuration.
