Automation Plugin - Is it possible to use a Canned Response?

Hi,

does anyone know if it is possible to use a canned response (https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1211016/canned-responses-pro-templates-for-jira) within a project automation rule (https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1211836/automation-for-jira-server-lite)?

I know that it is possible to create a custom comment in which I can copy the content of the canned response but I want to use the canned response directly so I don't have to think of the seperate automation comment if I make changes to the canned response in the future.

Thanks for getting in touch.

Unfortunately not at the moment. However you could suggest to the canned responses team they create a canned responses action for Automation for Jira via our add-on API. You can pass this onto them for reference:
