In our Jira Admin under Manage Users, we can no longer add an external (non google) user. We have 9 remaining on our jira user licence limit. When we add a user, fill out the form and click create user we get the following system error message display (see attached .rtf document):
A system error has occurred.
'Cause: java.lang.IllegalStateException: java.lang.RuntimeException: com.google.gdata.client.authn.oauth.OAuthException: Unable to reach remote OAuth signer.'
We've found the following support link: https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/ONDEMANDKB/Error+When+Adding+an+External+User+in+Instances+with+GApps+Integration
It states this workaround:
1. Disable the GApps integration from the Atlassian OnDemand instance (logging in is possible using the local password) . A support ticket must be created in order to disable it;
2. Remove the Atlassian OnDemand integration on the GApps administration panel;
3. Add once again the Atlassian OnDemand integration on the GApps administration panel.
Can you please assist us with this error and fix?
Hi Jon,
We can certainly assist you with this issue, but to do this we will need to know the URL of your instance so please open a ticket with Support in the OnDemand project and mention that you need us to assist you with disabling your GApps connection as described in the knowledge base article you have linked to. One of our engineers will then pick up the ticket and assist you in getting this issue resolved.
All the best,
John
