Cannot enable Callcenter add-on

I am trying to setup trial version of Wittified Callcenter for Jira Service Desk (version 1.0.2) add-on on my test application. However, enabling the same fails with error message

An unexpected error occurred. Refer to the logs for more information.

I see this in the logs - 

/rest/plugins/1.0/com.wittified.jsd.callcenter-key [c.a.plugin.manager.PluginEnabler] Unable to start the following plugins due to timeout while waiting for plugin to enable: com.wittified.jsd.callcenter
