How can i read the value of a ProjectField in an JQL-Querry

Hi,

we just upgraded ProFields from 4.x to 5.6.1.

We have some simple JQL-filters in some of our structures. Its necessary to update these filters, because they dont work anymore. Here is an example of the old JQL-statement:

project in profieldsOperator(Status, "!=", Archiviert)  and project in profieldsOperator(Bereich, "=", Kundenauftrag)

My question is, how can i read a value of a ProjectField now with an JQL-Querry?

We are using JIRA v7.2.3.

I´m looking forward for your help.

Kind Regards

KNL

Hi @Knut_Luebke,

DEISER has just updated Profields

Now you can filter in the Jira's issue navigator by project fields without the need of mapping them as custom fields. Search using a PQL or filter. More info: JQL Functions

We hope this helps you.

Cheers!

Hello @Knut_Luebke

I'm Fede Baronti from DEISER. I'm really sorry for the late response.

After 5.X.X, we provided a Project Navigator with Profields, so you can filter and organize through projects. You can also use the Advanced Search for that.

If you want and need to use Profields Fields in the JIRA issue navigator and filter with a JQL, you need to map the fields you created with Profields as JIRA's custom field. This way you'll be able to add them to your JQL.

Hope this clears out you doubt, and again, sorry for the late reply.

Best regards.

Fede.
