Incorrect Gerrit changes are showing up in Jira ticket

We are using the ' JIRA-Gerrit plugin' to pull the Gerrit changes/ reviews in Jira.

However, for few Jira tickets, it is showing wrong changes.

e.g- AAA-1  showing 3 changes from Gerrit having keywords in messages as AAA-1, AAA and AAA respectively. 

We have already upgraded the plugin to 3.2.

We do not find any issues with the settings as well. We are using 'message:%s' for the 'Issue search'

Same issue. Changing the project key still picks up un-related commits.
