Is it possible to edit draw.io-Diagramms without delete-file-permission?

Hello there,

the "Edit"-Button within draw.io-Diagramms attached to JIRA-issues seems to be directly depended to the permission "delete (own) attachments" - is there a way to deal with it, without creating after each edit-activity a new file with a new name?

JIRA allows to save more instances of one file (identical name) and shows them as 'versions' of this file... why isn't it possible to 'save' the changes into a new Version of the File?

JIRA doesn't have a functioning way to update of attachments programmatically. The JIRA user interface might allow it, but that functionality is not extended to plugins. To change an attachment in a plugin in JIRA (server or cloud), the only method is to delete then write.
