Is there a way to populate a Jira Custom Multi-Select List with Custom Field from TM4J?

I am trying to populate a custom field in Jira with the custom field values from TM4J.

However, it seems that the custom fields in TM4J doesn't have the unique identifier example (customfield_99999) like in Jira.

Is there a way I can do this via groovy scripting? Any suggestions is greatly appreciated. Thank you.
