Need to change sub-tasks to tasks linked to parent Jira

New to this, so this may be a dumb question. Running Jira in the cloud. Nevertheless, I'm trying to use Script Runner to do this but I'm struggling to get past the authentication. Bear in mind, I'm a site admin and belong to all groups I can find so don't know what else I can do but the error is about not having addon permissions.

 I get this when I try to PUT to the api in Script Runner to update the issuetype field.

I tried https://community.developer.atlassian.com/t/atlassian-addons-admin-group-and-how-its-created-managed/1707 but this doesn't seem to be a flow anymore.

Also if anyone has a better solution than this I'm very open to hearing the solutions.
