Copy NFeed field without displaying it on ticket screen

We are using Jira v6.4 and nFeed v5.3.1

We are required to copy a nFeed value to the Jira ticket's Assignee field when it is created.

Also we are not supposed to display that nFeed field on the screen.

Using a post-function in the workflow is not able to copy the nFeed field to the 'Assignee' field unless it is displayed on the screen.

Is there any way to accomplish this?

Hi Rupa,

If you want to do this without the need to display the Assignee field. I would recommend using a Script Listener instead.

You can have the listener listen for when an issue is created and make the assignment then.
