Custom field list autocomplete javascript

Hi,

I have the need for a list that will contain 100+ values, it would be useful to allow the user to type and suggestions/autocomplete be provided. I have seen javascript used to allow the use of the multi select auto complete as used for components.

Any ideas on a simular method but for single selections?

Thanks for that although it is simular this would not address the requirement to select a single option.
