Hi,
I want to hide autiomations section on the default screen on an issue. It prolongs the time of webpage load. http://take.ms/6MKxx
Thanks!
It should not slow down the rendering of the page, as the panel is loaded after the initial page is rendered.
Agree it doesn't make sense to be there though if there are no automations, so I have created an issue in our backlog to hide it in this case.
You can track the issue here:
https://codebarrel.atlassian.net/browse/AUT-385
Cheers,
Scott.
thanks!
Yes, I mean it does load after the page is being loaded, but it is still a bit not user friendly, because there are other sections below this section, and they are loaded first, and then when automations is loaded, then it moves lower, visually it is cumbersome. here is the video how it is loaded http://take.ms/LT60c

Vote for this as well please.
Our non-admin users aren't aware of automations we set up, and none of them are permitted to ever manually trigger a rule.
To them, the Automations widget in the panel is seen as clutter and keeps other relevant fields from loading above the "Show more" cutoff.
I also agree that regardless of how the Automation widget is technically loaded in the background relative to other panel items, from a rendering point of view, it does look like it is slowing down the page load.
So there are user complaints around the item loading, because it's all based on their perception.

It would be really good to have this. It defeats the purpose of having the New Issue View and streamlining workflow to only show the necessary information. The development team does not need or will not use this.
