Hi, I have tried to use the export function in BigPicture Resources to export but it says "You have no assigned templates. Contact your adminstrator."
Can anyone please advice what must be done before I can export? I saw discussion threads on using BigTemplate to export. Can I export from BigPicture without this plug-in?
Please kindly advice.
Thanks! Ernest
Why do you need to export Resources?
These are just the people in your JIRA user list, and what tasks they are assigned to.
If you want the list of who is doing what, just export it from JIRA.
Or are you trying to get a picture of the resource view, with the over allocations?
If so, can you just use a screen shot? What are you trying to do with the data from the export? Maybe with more details I can give you some creative ideas...
I am only exporting resource views with overallocations as part of mgmt reporting. Worst case, yes screenshot but will prefer to extract the allocation over time horizon so we can keep a baseline copy to compare current vs baseline. Sort of retrospective and continous improvements. Do you have any ideas?

You could try your Browser print feature and pipe it to a PDF generator instead of a printer. I hope this helps!
(we pay for BigTemplate and it does export the long Gantt view to a pdf. It works fine but not great.....)

Hello Ernest,
The message which is displayed in your BigPicture is most probably caused by the fact that your instance is missing our Export Plugin - the BigTemplate. In order not to duplicate the thread, please refer to this Atlassian Community Discussion.
You may learn more about BigTemplate from the above AC thread or by visiting our documentation page.
Kind Regards,
Piotr
