How to prevent notification to external email address that sent in the mail

I have set up a custom field to log all external email addresses to be notified. But how do you prevent the system of sending an update notification to the mail address that sent in the comment on a query.

Yes, this is a catch 22, as the remote email users identity is unknown whent the IssueListener processes the event and broadcasts to all JIRA /non-JIRA users.

To remove the non-JIRA user, from being notified of their own comments, I would need to keep the last 'email comment' user in another custom field, a new feature, please log?
