In-App Notifications with Jitter Notify and Email This Issue

Hi!

We have switched all notifications to be dispatched by the "Email This Issue" plugin, because it offers better customization (Issue-Type specific notfications, Attachments and All comments). Until now we used a nice plugin - "Jitter Notify" to deliver In-App notifications, but it uses the project's notification sheme to do so. Since from now on projects don't have notifications schemes, the app works no longer.

Is there a way to make "Jitter Notify" listen to the "Email This Issue" notifications instead?

Currently no not without disabling emails completely in JIRA. Have a look at this proposal: https://bitbucket.org/jitterplugin/notify/issue/6/allow-different-notification-scheme-than

Hi @Ivaylo Mitakov,

Why don't you check In-App & Desktop Notifications for Jira, you can still use it without configuring an outgoing email or notification scheme.
