Jira Toolkit (cloud) not recognising HTML text

I have got toolkit for Jira Cloud, but when I input any HTML code within a message field (both view and edit), the HTML is not recognised.

For example, <b><h1>Heading 1</h1></b> set as the default value should turn into a large, bold heading as a field, however it is just showing "<b><h1>Heading 1</h1></b>" as regular font. I have used this plugin on Jira server and have copied across the exact same values from here to cloud, but it is not changing format.

Any ideas??

UPDATE: It recognises *this* as bold, _this_ as italic and +this+ as underlined. It also would pick up h1.This as the largest header going all the way down to h6.This as the smallest header.

This is not HTML and is completely different to how the same plugin works on server, anyone have any idea what's going on??
