Is there any addon equivalent to "SCROLL VIEWPORT" but for JIRA

Martin July 26, 2018

There is this addon "scroll viewport" which can manage web content for Cofluence, but I am looking an addon similar to this one, but for JIRA.

Thanks

Hey Martin,

the answer is unfortunately no – at least not from K15t.

However, I'd love to learn more about your particular requirements. Can you email us at hello@k15t.com?

I can't imagine how that would be of use in a Jira system.

Could you describe the use-case?

When you create an Issue, you need to fill some fields, so the question is if there's an addon that can manipulate those fields, like if you were constructing a html file and you can decide which fields go where in the web page, but in these case the fields of that form of the issue.

Thanks.

Mmm, that's not quite what Scroll Viewport does for Confluence, but the use case makes sense.

You can do that in Jira already, to an extent - just go into the "create" screen and re-arrange the fields to the order you want.

Ok, I get the part of the re-arrange of the fileds, but when the fields display you can only see them vertically; now, is there a way that you can put two or more fields in the same line, I mean horizontally...do I explain myself??

Yes, perfectly :-)

Jira does not do side-by-side fields (yet).  You'd have to dive into the core code and re-arrange the screen layout stuff to do it.

Mmmm I see...ok, thanks for your time
