I love the structure plugin. I have JIRA Cloud now instead of Server. I can not use the structure plugin. This makes me very sad. Is there a time when this plugin will be available on JIRA Cloud? Please?
Hi Faisal, and everyone else here. Here is a quick update on this topic:
ALM Works hopes to have a Structure cloud solution in late 2018 and you can help ensure we build the product you need: If you're willing to share your desired cloud use cases, and other thoughts about what you'd most like to see in a Structure Cloud product, please consider joining the Structure Cloud early access program (EAP).
You can learn more about the EAP, or join the Structure Cloud mailing list, here: http://alm.works/ceap

Dave thank you so much! We will be happy to participate in any beta tests and share ideas with you. Many of us have been waiting for this for a long time.

Hello Chel,
Thank you for your kind words. We are starting to look into the options we have to bring Structure to the cloud, but most likely it won't be possible to re-implment all the functionality for the cloud straight away. In your case, are you looking for the full functionality or a more lightweight version may work too? For example, will manual structure management without automation be sufficient?
Another solution would be to use рosted JIRA services provided by the experts. Like Swift by Seibert Media: https://swift.seibert-media.net
There is also another company we are starting to work with. They specialise hosting JIRA on Amazon. Let me know if you are interested and I can get in touch with them too.
Kind regards,
Eugene (ALM Works)

Hey. hi!
I'm very interested on this feature too. As a PM, I like to see indented tasks, shows me the perspective for the whole solution. I miss this from MS Project and IBM RTC tool. Maybe, start in Cloud with a small feature like this then grow with more features.
Thank you!

Another Structure fan here, was gutted not to see it available for cloud. Really great plugin, hope you guys will make it happen relatively soon, am sure there are people holding off of the cloud versions simply because Structure isn't available yet. That's how awesome your product is!
Best regards,
Dave L.

Forget about it, I did!
I don't know why I was copied on this answer, I set to not be contacted anymore. Waste of time, better look to switch tool. If there was a tool a bit better, I would have changed (I prefer IBM RTC, but I think it is too expensive).

Hi all,
Dave, thanks a lot for your kind words :) I'll pass your feedback to the team to give them some extra motivation :)
Just to give a quick update on where we are with the Cloud version.
We have actually started working on it - we did a deeper investigation of what's currently possible with the Atlassian Connect and are working on the definition of the scope of the first version and the architecture. There is no way to just migrate the exisitng code to Cloud and for us it will mean pretty much re-writing Structure from scratch. Since we won't be able to implement all the functionality of the server version in the Cloud, we'll also need to re-design it a bit to keep things consitent and convenient to use.
I cannot give any dates yet cause we are still in the investigation phase, but it's definitely one of our priorities for this year.
Please stay tuned!
Kind regards,
Eugene

Hi Eugene,
One more pack of kind words to be passed to your team :)
We like your plugin very much too and are really missing it after switching to Cloud version. Answering your question in the first reply: our team doesn't need full functionality just the possibility to create a ordered list of task for any JIRA user. Let's start without any automation, we're fond of good old manual way. And if you need some beta-testers then we can help you in the testing process.
Best regards,
Dmitry

Hi Dmitry! Thank you so much :)
Manual part will definitely be there! And I'm sure we'll have some early adopter phase too. Will be happy to have you there. Can you please send me an email at eugene@almworks.com and I'll make sure we notify you as soon as there is some news.
Thanks,
Eugene

Hi Eugene,
Im a huge fan of structure too. Earlier post of yours said you had a few options we could use in the mean time. Could you share those with me? The lightweight version and the other option ?

We were also planning to implement Structure in our organization... until we found out today that it was only available for Server-based instances. Is there any mailing list we can joint to let us know when it becomes available for Cloud instances?

I would like to be informed when this is available for Cloud, as well. We are wanting to implement SAFe in Jira, but really need something like Structure, to make it feasible. We are considering leaving Jira for another tool, so would like to know when this is availalbe.

Eugene, we are interested in this as well. and as others said above, even a lightweight junior version would be fine. We will be happy to volunteer to beta test. Also you might not know this but RallyDev's entire original system UI was pretty Structure at the top level with drill down issues below it. I greatly prefer Atlassian's Jira for reasons far to numerous to mention and never looked back, but I have always missed that sort of "what is happening across the whole map." kind of view. I can't tell you guys how to run your business and I know developing something with a code re write sucks major resources and time but I can tell you there are a lot of people out there that I think would want Structure for Jira Cloud. Consider for a minute Jira's price point and feature rich system, the desire to have even a simple overview bolt on is a no brainer and it would appeal to many folks who come from different worlds in project management. Exciting to hear you are underway with this though so let us know!

Hello @Manzoor Alam, no, Status Rollup is not available in Structure Cloud yet.
Currently this feature is not in our roadmap, but thank you for raising the request. The more we hear these requests, the more likely we may make it a higher priority. To stay informed about new features you can subscribe to our updates and check the roadmap to know more about upcoming features.

Hi Eugene, I'm also interested in Structure plugin and would like to have this capability in Cloud.
We are migrating from server to Cloud. Please notify me when this capability is going to be available in Cloud.
Thanks, Nazee
