Hello Community,
is it possible, to link or assign different Objects between different Object Schemas in Insight?
Explanation:
I have two Object Schemas, for Example one with the Name "User Management" and one with the Name "Inventory Management".
If i now create an Object Type like "User" in the Object Schema "User Management" and then i create an Object Type like "Computer" in the Object Schema "Inventory Management", is it possible, to create a Attribute like "Assigned User" for affected Computerobject and link this Attribute to affected Userobjects in the Object Schema "User Management"?
Example:
Object Schema "Inventory Management" --> Object Type "Computer" --> Object "PC-001" --> Attribute "linked Attribute "Benutzer-001" from Object Schema "User Management"
Kind Regards
Maik
Hi Maik,
Starting from version 5.4 it's possible to have references between object schemas, you can read more about it in the release notes at https://documentation.riada.se/insight/latest/release-notes/insight-5-4-release-notes
You need to open your object schema to allow access from other schemas, look at the following screenshot for more information.
If you feel like this answered your question, please mark it as accepted :)
Cheers!
