Hi,
I'm finding difficulty in writing query for following.
User Story to Test Script to corresponding Test Executions to Corresponding defects and also to include DocId field which we are using for Design Trace for User Story
Existing XRAY Tractability Matrix doesn't cover Design Trace and I need to write to include design trace
User Story-->Test Script-->Test Execution-->Defects-->Doc ID(For Design Document ID)
Hi Prasad,
The built-in Traceability Report (https://confluence.xpand-addons.com/display/XRAY/Traceability+Report) provides an overview from Requirements (Story, Epic)<=>Tests<=>Test Runs<=>Defects
The Tests in Xray are entities related with the specification.
From our understanding, what you need is the ability to include some custom fields related with the requirement in that report, right? If so, we aim to improve the report in the short term to provide that (we don't have yet it planned for a specific version).
Meanwhile, an option could be using Xporter and this template (https://store.xporter.xpand-it.com/view/32?cats=1&keyWord=trace), by adapting it to show the information you need.
Best regards,
Xpand Add-ons Team
Hi Jose thanks for the response. How to use "Xporter and this template" please let me know more details.

Hi Prasad, Xporter is a Reporting app for Jira and you can find it in the marketplace, here: https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/891368/xporter-export-issues-from-jira?hosting=cloud&tab=overview
One option that you could try is to use this template with some custom fields related with your requirement https://store.xporter.xpand-it.com/view/32?cats=1&keyWord=trace
"This template is intended to those teams that would like to have a report with the "state of art" of their Requirements. With this Requirement Traceability Matrix Report, you will be able to get a complete document listing all the Requirements of a certain project, it's Requirement Status, the Tests linked to each specific Requirement, and the Defects or Bugs that result from a "Fail" status. One report that is just possible due to the tight integration between Xray and Xporter."
Here are the links to Xporter documentation that can help you with the setup:

@José Domingues [Xray] Can X-ray tie into a confluence macro that will publish the tracability report in a confluence page? You can then use the layout tool to run it next to a design matrix.
