Hi,
we're using Confluence with 'Requirement Yogi' to specify our Requirements. Further more we got Xray for our Testmanagement. We want to link from a Test in Xray to a specified Requirement in Confluence. Currently there is only the possibility to link from Xray to a Confluence Page or to an Requirement URL. But if we do this, we cant't get a benefit out of the Xray Management Tools (Requirement Coverage etc.)
Is there a way to Link from Xray to a single Requirement in Confluence and get all the Benefits similar to Link between Xray and a Jira Issue?
Greetings Mirco
We use Xray in Jira, which is connected to Confluence with RY.
And yes, you can insert RY links into Xray tickets (Jira) inside the issue details view with the Button "More" and "Requirement Yogi Links".
By default the Xray screen schema just hides the "add link" button and the panel for links inside the issue screen. But using the "More" action menu you can add any RY links.
ciao,
Chris
Hi Mirco,
Xray integrates with Confluence, please check our documentation here: https://confluence.xpand-it.com/display/public/XRAY/Integration+with+Confluence
To allow to create Xray issues in Jira from Confluence and to allow to view the Xray gadgets in Confluence also.
However, the issues must exist first in Jira, otherwise the gadgets will not be able to show any information.
We have no experience with 'Requirement Yogi, however if the requirements are created in Jira and the configuration is setup in Xray (https://confluence.xpand-it.com/display/public/XRAY/Quick+Setup), it should be possible to work.
As with this configuration you will be able to run the gadgets in Jira and if the gadgets are run in Jira it is possible to view them in Confluence using the above configuration (Integration with Confluence).
Best regards,
Xray Team
