I have checklist plugin on jira project, and I would like to have the checklist to populate in confluence where we populate the ticket in a deployment plan format. Please let me know if its possible and the steps to implement
Issue Checklist Pro and Issue Checklist Free do not offer such functionality.
If you could let us know what you need then we will be happy to put this requirement on the backlog.
Do you need to see the checklist in Confluence only? Or would you like to work with the checklist on the Confluence side?
Or maybe you would like to synchronize Jira checklist with Confluence tasks?
Thanks,
Jack
Assuming you're using Checklist for Jira plugin with Jira Server which has this documentation, there is no natively supported method to synchronize your checklist in Jira with any checklist you have in Confluence. Since this plugin does detail how to use the REST API to get Checklist information, it would theoretically be possible to integrate the Checklist for Jira plugin with Confluence using scripted postfunctions on the transition where you populate the ticket, but this would be a one-time, one-way method to just "push" the checklist out to Confluence.
Unfortunately, unless you're quite gifted with Groovy or Java, this is something you would need to contact the developer of the plugin for (if you'd like to ask them to add functionality you feel is missing), or engage the services of an Atlassian Partner to have them create this integration for you.
If you are using a different plugin than the above, please let me know specifically what plugin you are using, as well as what versions of Jira and Confluence.
