parse the date from the issue summary and put it into on/off boarding date field

hi Community,

I am trying to parse the date from the issue summary and put it into on/off boarding date field we have, I have taken the reference from here https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Automation-questions/Extract-a-date-from-summary-string-and-apply-to-Due-date/qaq-p/1838455 which I am positive this is the right approach but it's not working, will appreciate if I can get some suggestions for this.
