Running JSU Freeware (1.5.4) on JIRA 7.4 or higher?

Hello,

We are on a older version of JIRA (6.3) and looking to upgrade to 7.7.

For test purpose we installed the free version of JSU on a JIRA 7.7 instance.

It seems all the functionality is there but in the list of Add-Ons it states "INCOMPATIBLE".

Is there anyone brave out there that have tested this combination, or that can tell me why it says "INCOMPATIBLE" when the functionality seems to be there- what risks are we taking so to say?
