Use Multiselect field to create linked tasks

I need a post function to create linked tasks based on a multiselect field. For example, if the multiselect field had 5 options (Team 1, Team 2, Team 3, Team 4, Team 5) when Team 1 and Team 5 are selected two linked issues are created with a summary of Team 1 and the other having a summary of Team 5.
