What formula were these apps using for gamification of Jira?

What formula were they using for the leaderboard?  tried reading documentation of few but got nothing solid.

I want to know how they were deciding the positions in leader board. I'm thinking it in both ways 1. For user 2. For Group

Like user who is solving more number of issues..or who is spending most time...
