We're new to Jira and Zephyr; we're using Jira Cloud. Our goal is to be able to map tests to requirements (we're trying to use stories for this) and generate a traceability matrix. Note: We will not be using Jira for issues, only for requirements.
When I look at an item in Jira (whether test or story), I see a section for issue links, and I also see a Linked Requirements section. What's the difference between these two sections? I'm guessing I need to use the issue links to link our Zephyr tests to Jira stories (aka, requirements)?
Thanks!
Hello Aimee,
I hope you are having a nice day.
The Issue Links section that you are seeing is a native functionality of JIRA made to simply link one issue to another.
Since it does not display in my JIRA site, I believe the session Linked Requirements is provided by a third-party plugin, maybe by the own Zephyr integration.
Could you please provide us a screenshot of the Linked Requirements section you mentioned? What options did it provide you when you try to use it?
Ohhh. I bet this is related to rmcloud. We added that plug-in as an experiment. Since we have determined that we don't need it, I've requested that it be removed.
Second question: I requested its removal by sending an e-mail to the vendor of that plug-in. Is there another way for me to remove it myself?
Thanks!

Hello Aimee,
If you are the Site-admin of your JIRA Cloud site, you can follow the steps below to properly remove the App:
- Type GG to open your shortcut bar and type Manage Apps or navigate to JIRA Settings > Apps > Manage Apps
- Click on the project drop-down > Uninstall or Unsubscribe and then Uninstall:

Thank you!! Once I uninstalled rmcloud, the field I was looking at went away.
