Can we add @Opsgenie to a Teams chat instead of a channel?

We're solely using 'Chat' in Teams rather than channels because of reasons, but as far as I'm aware we can currently only add the @OpsGenie bot to channels in Teams and not as a participant in a chat.

Is this assumption correct?
If so, would this make a feasible feature request or are the limitations on the Teams-OpsGenie integration I'm not aware of?

You are correct. The Opsgenie bot can only post to channels, but not chats. To be honest, I'm not sure if that is feasible or not, but if you submit a feature request our development team will review it, regardless. You can add new requests here:
