OpsGenie -> SlackApp messages truncated

Hi,

is there any limit for size of messages posted to slack channel via OpsGenie SlackApp integration from an OpsGenie Alert? I can see the whole message in description of OpsGenie alert but the messaged posted in channel is truncated after 1000 chars.

Good day! I am Arumugam from Atlassian Support.

I understand you are concerned about the character limit for the messages posted to the Slack channel. Unfortunately, at the moment, the message length is limited to 1000 characters.

However, we have a feature request to increase the character limit for the alert description sent to Slack.

You may follow the ticket OPSGENIE-183 to know more about the feature request.
