As most organisations, we have regular maintenance work such as server patching and OS updates that are performed on a regular basis.
Is it possible to set up a reoccurring schedule for a team/globally? e.g. every first/second/third/last Saturday of the month or every other month between x times etc.
Right now, we don't have an option to set up recurring maintenance in Opsgenie, but we have an open feature request for this:
https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/OPSGENIE-451
The closest option right now would be to use our API to enable/disable policies (similar to what a maintenance policy does) and set up a cron job or something similar to do this on a set interval.
https://docs.opsgenie.com/docs/alert-and-notification-policy-api
Thanks @Brennan Kiely
I've voted in favour for the feature request 451.
That's a good point regarding the API. Will do some testing and see what I can get out of it.

@Brennan KielyHow would you suggest setting up a patch management process with Opsgenie in concert with JSM Premium? Is Atlassian planning to continue support for Opsgenie? It seems there isn't much going on with enhancements/new features.

@J Conners - We have an option to connect BitBucket to Opsgenie to track deployments:

Hi @Brennan Kiely - That was not what I meant. Let's say we have filtered notifications/alerts from a security alert subscription service. We identify a few alerts that should be added to our regular application update schedule--not emergency, but should be a normal or even standard change. How can we do that with Jira Service Management premium and Opsgenie alerts filtering?

@J Conners - You can set up an integration between JSM and Opsgenie to create JSM tickets for the security alerts coming into OG.
https://support.atlassian.com/opsgenie/docs/integrate-opsgenie-with-jira-service-management-cloud/
You can add filters on the integration to only create JSM tickets for certain alerts in OG.
