Apply sort order on specific attribute for user provisioning get users API

I am fetching all the users from the directory using Get Users API. I want to apply sort order (ascending/descending) on a specific attribute so that the entire result set is sorted. Does Atlassian provide any out-of-the-box option to do this?

Please help!
