Business Class Rights

Looking into obtaining a business class account for myself as an Admin of a potential HR & Hiring board. I gather this account would enable me to lock down certain areas or additions to the board to each specific recruiter (other user.) Will one account be sufficient or does every user accessing this board need a business class account?

Hi Christina

Whether the user is a part of a Business Class team or just a member of the board, they will be able to contribute equally. There's not a way to lock down specific areas of the board.

The only permission available to change for edits to the board would be to add a user as an observer to the board- then they'll be a 'read-only' user and won't be able to do anything except comment/vote if those are enabled.

Thanks for the info. A follow up question: is there a capacity to restrict what an observer sees? IE: Candidates from recruiters A & B are on one board for my team. I only want Recruiter A to see their candidates and Recruiter B to see theirs. Is this possible, or would separate boards be needed?

You’d need to have separate boards. There’s not a way to hide cards or lists from people
