Can I opt out of markdown or turn it off?

I regularly copy and paste from emails that include form data from Formidable. Before Trello's recent change the data all stayed formatted correctly when I pasted. Now, it's showing up as one smeared together block of text without spaces or line breaks. 

This has seriously slowed down my work process as I've experimented with taking a screenshot of the form entry and uploading that (some entries are too long) or reformatting each one in the card (makes a 2 second task into a 30 second task, which adds up fast). 

Any way to KEEP the original formatting when I copy and paste, or to turn off markdown altogether and go back to the old way?

Thanks for reaching out!

You should be able to paste text without formatting using the ⌘ + Shift + V (Mac) or Ctrl + Shift + V (Windows) shortcut.
