Can I sort Trello cards by due date in list by the earliest deadline given to an item in a checklist

We want to revamp the way we utilise Trello. Right now, we use the overarching deadline on a card to sort by due date in a list. However, we want to change the cards to show both the start and end date of a project. 

This is to stop the deadline from being changed constantly and to help our project manager always know the final deadline for a job. Before, the overarching deadline would change from the concept deadline to the deadlines of specific assets. 

TL DR. Can we sort a list by due date using the checklist deadlines?

I'm afraid there isn't a way to sort by checklist due dates. I checked, and we have a feature suggestion opened regarding sorting due date items, which you can check here: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/TRELLO-49

This will help our product and engineering team understand more about which functionalities our users are interested in.
