Is there away to use Trello swimlane transitions to update a Jira status?

Atlassian Team members are employees working across the company in a wide variety of roles.
Our Butler automation tool has the ability to create Jira issues, or post comments to them, but doesn't look like it can change the status of a card in Jira I'm afraid: https://blog.trello.com/butler-automations-for-slack-jira
Beyond that, it looks like you could trigger this with an automation service like Zapier. I'd suggest checking them out! They can trigger actions in Jira when a card is moved to a new list in Trello - this may be just what you need!
