Protect custom fields

I´d like to know if there´s any chance to protect custom fileds from being erased.

@Carola Piro  I don't know of any way to protect a custom field.  It is an interesting idea though.  How would you want to use it?  Perhaps have fields that are only editable by board owners or something like that?

Hi @Carola Piro welcome to the Atlassian community.

I have found 2 documentation links that speaks of Trello custom fields and are available from Standard license.

However, I couldn't trace if their is an option to protect custom fields from getting deleted as a Trello board can have up to 50 custom fields defined.

So, I'm eager to read the answers to this question.
