Hi,
I'm using Jira Power-Up in Trello, and we're migrating our Trello tasks to Jira. When it comes to migrating to an Epic or a Task, it works fine.  But I want to migrate some Trello cards as subtasks to then link them in JIRA, but the option is not available. Does someone know how I could achieve that?

I tried to first migrate them as tasks, but then I cannot change their type into subtasks.

Can anyone help?

Hello @Ella Forté

Thank you for contacting Atlassian Community.

Unfortunately, the Jira power-up provided by Atlassian does not allow the import of Trello cards as Sub-tasks in Jira. Only checklists are imported as sub-tasks when using the Jira Power up, as you can see in the documentation below:

https://support.atlassian.com/jira-cloud-administration/docs/import-data-from-trello/

A valid option is to export your cards using JSON or CSV and import them to Jira with the issue type you want.

Another option would be to use a third-party app. However, as an Atlassian support engineer, I don't know if any third-party apps can provide you with this functionality, but you can also search for a few options in the link below:

Thanks!

Thanks a lot for the answer Petter! I'll try one of these options.
