How can I sync card labels in cards between boards?

I need to have 2 boards for my team's project roadmap. 

We have a master board (only my team works on this) and a 'public' board (other teams can view only). I've set a lot of automations to copy and sync cards in the master board to the public board. The only thing I can't do is sync labels added to cards in the master board so that it appears in the public board. 

So the ideal scenario: 

• I create a card on the master board 
• I add a label to the card on the master board
• A linked/attached card is created on the public board 
• The labbel added to the master card is also added to the linked public board card. 

Does anyone know if this is something I can do?

If you already have the cards linked, this would work...

Hi thanks for the reply! The linked card lives on a different board, and I can't seem to make that rule work :/ 

Is there anything I might be missing?
