To Do I Copy Customer Field to Cards Created From List?

How do you copy a text custom field from the card that contains a checklist, when using automation to create cards from a checklist?

For example: 
List: New
Card: Client 1
Custom Text Field: Illinois
Checklist: To do (Task 1, Task 2, Task 3)

Creates individual cards on
List: To Do Tasks
Card 1: Task 1
Card 2: Task 2
Card 3: Task 3

How do I copy "Illinois" customer text field on the individual cards created above?

With automation in Trello, we don't have a way right now for you to copy the custom field from one card to another - although this is something I've passed your interest in onto our team for consideration. :) 

It could be worth exploring the 3rd Party Power-Ups available for Trello see if any of the automation Power-Ups are able to do this for you. Here's a link where you can view these - https://trello.com/power-ups/search?q=automate
