Trello card background color power-up

I want to have the functionality of this browser extension as a power-up, so no need for an extension

More detail:

I want to use (or create) a power-up that changes the background colour of the cards, potentially using shortcodes e.g. adding [user] to the title changes the entire card to blue. Or using the card labels to colour the whole card rather than just add a little bar of colour.

I want to know if the power-up API can do this. I do not mind if this is an already existing power-up I can use, or just a pointer to the functionality in the API to build my own.

@jvedder actually that's not possible.  The chrome extension you mention changes the html/css of Trello, and power-ups can't do this.  Power-ups are not allowed to change the Trello UI.

Oh well, will just have to make do with using the browser extension.
