Hi,
using @<member1> in a comment leads to direct email to <member1>, working perfect.
Using @board delivers no emails to all members (of the board).
Also tried with a dummy-member that follows explicit the whole board:
Notification on the board (bell-icon) is there , but no e-mail.
Any ideas, what i have to change?
Thanks!
Dirk
Hey there Dirk,
We sometimes hear from customers that notifications aren't working. As a first step, please see http://help.trello.com/customer/portal/articles/993808-notifications-are-not-working to see if that helps to solve your problem.
If it doesn't, please try the following:
1. Go to https://trello.com/your/account and make sure your email notifications are sent to "instantly."
2. Create a new Trello board.
3. Create a new card called "test card"
4. Add yourself as a member to "test card"
5. Invite another user to the Trello board.
6. Close Trello.
7. Ask the other user to make a comment on Test card.
You should see an email notification about that comment within 15 minutes of it being made. Once you receive the email notification, you can check in Trello itself and should see an in-app notification about the comment, as well.
If you don't see that behavior, could you please submit a ticket at trello.com/contact with the following info so that we can continue to troubleshoot:
1. A screenshot of the card in question.
2. A screenshot of the top of your notifications page (click the bell icon in the top right to display this page)
Also, just to be clear: are you following the same steps with @dummy-member as you are with member1, or is the action that you are taking to prompt the notification different? (Ie, mentioning board instead of that user directly?)
Once we have that, we'd be happy to take a closer look.
